Write for the IBD Blog

IBD stands for "Indian Blog Directory". I thought an acronym would sound cool. With that out of our way I would now like to present to you this great opportunity to generate more traffic for your blog. As you would agree every website and blog on the Internet needs traffic both from search engines and other websites and blogs. We will stick to the subject of blogs. There are 4 ways you can generate lots of traffic for your blog:

• By interacting on other blogs (in the comments section) and online forums
• By linking to other blogs so that they link back to you
• By writing about blog posts on other blogs, on your blog, and sending them trackbacks
• By guest-posting on other blogs
• By search engine optimizing your blog

OK, I have listed 5 ways here but the 5th one is beyond the scope of our current discussion.

So how can you to increase traffic to your blog by writing for the IBD blog? First of all if you think that your own post deserves exposure you can write a small synopsis and from there link to your original blog post. Second, the top 10 posters will be featured on a permanent basis somewhere visible on this blog. So for instance if you have made the maximum number of postings on this blog your name will appear here may be in the sidebar linking back to your blog. The names will be sorted in the descending order of the number of posts made by individual authors.

Even if you cannot make it to the top 10 posters you can post blog posts on your own blog posts and then link to them.
